Reflection

Education is the best weapon to combat the battle of life and this is the greatest legacy our parents could bequit to us.

In more than 2 months of discussions, I've learned a lot. I can now express my ideas very well. Simply, I improved. One of my favorite is posting blogs, Why? Because in this, it's like I am making my own Diary and also I enjoyed making those activities that Mrs. Vera Cruz gave to us. Now, I realized that ICT subject is very interesting, I can learn a lot fron this subject, I can discover many things from this subject. So I'm very thankful because we have this kind of subject and I am also very thankful to my subject teacher for her patience and sharing her knowledge to us.

Intramurals

Intramurals agqad held in school with the objectives of developing the psychomotor of the students this way they will be able to channel their energy and time the right away.

One of the purpose of Intramurals is to promote camaraderie and rapport among the students, instructors and administrative staff. In other words, this undertaking is poised to build a strong bond and cohesion. In every competition there will always a winner and a losser but always remember all can be winner.

Intramurals or sports competition is essential to the well-being of the students. Sports instills how to win, how to accept defeat, how to interact with other people and how to mold them to have desirable character traits are vital in achieving success in the future.

My teacher, My Hero

Education is one of the greatest gift mankind can ever receive. It is vital to anybody. What could be in a school without our teachers? There would be no students as well that in fact, students will not be able to go to school and learn what they are supposed to learn. There will be ignorance. Having our teachers we were able to learn and understand things easier and quicker.

Mrs. Redondo my teacher in mathematics when I was in 2nd year is indeed a superhero because she teaches me a lot. She is like my mom because she is like a star in the night guiding my way not to be lost and became a better person. She always teaches us a good moral lesson. Like a hero, my teacher always helps mdm whenever I have problems in our subject. All those positive traits were seen from her so I can say that she is my superhero.

                                                                        My Greatest Hero

The world is full of heroes: Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman etc. but I have my own hero and she is unquestionably the greatest of them all, my mother.
When I looked up the exact definition of a hero, I found this, "A hero is a man of distinguished courage or ability, admired for his brave deeds and noble qualities." Aside from the obvious, I cannot think of a better way to describe my mother. She always pushed and prodded me to achieve all that I can in life and never accept anything but my best. Years down the line, I hope I can impart some of that wisdom on my own family, but for now I simply hope that she is proud of who am I. As the years have passed by, I've been constantly reminded of just how much she has sacrificed for me. All this assures me that no matter what I do, she will always be there with open arms and a smile on her face. I really love my mother, I can't never imagine life without her. Her strength is my strength, her kindness is my kindness and her love is my inspiration.

                                         Wika ng Pagkakaisa

WIKA?

                                             Reflection

ICT IV, one of the very interesting subject. In more than 2 months of learnings I gained a lot of knowledge and realized that there are so many things that I can learn in this subject.
The best thing that I had learned is blogging. This will serve as my own journal, and through this we can express our comments or reactions about any topic or issues. I think that this will serve as my bridge to the next quarter to discover new knowledge and to improve my skills in blogging. I am very thankful to our very dynamic teacher Mrs. Evelyn Vera Cruz because she open the door for us to learn, communicate well to others and always have discipline. I will apply all that I've learned in this quarter to next quarter.

“Kalamidad Paghandaan, Gutom at Malnutrisyon ay Agapan”

Just recently, two tropical cyclones ravaged our country mercilessly. It seems that it is inevitable and natural for our country to suffer such natural calamities that causes the great loss of properties and lives.
One of the manifestations of the onslaught of calamities is hunger and malnutrition especially those evacuees and direct victims. For instance, in Zamboanga City, after the siege cause  by muslim rebels, some of the evacuees died due to hunger and malnutrition cause by the lack of relief goods and good supply and it is grieving to know that majority of them are children.
The question now is what could we do to confront this issues and problems, thus it cannot be prevented, as human individuals what could be done is to reduce the risk and mitigate the effect the effect of natural disasters through preparations. There are many ways to prepare for national disasters and it varies from one time to another as of one mentioned, one of the natural disasters are hunger and malnutrition. This can be prevented in many ways.
Each family should always be aware and alert on natural disasters. For instance, they should constantly update themselves to weather forecast and alert issues by government agencies, LGU’s and news stations such as PAGASA, PHIVOCS, NDRRMC. Make sure also that there is always a stock of food supply and drinks, first aid kits and other medical supplies should always be prepared, local government units concerned government agencies shall have disaster plans that are sensitive to the people, well organized and systematic. Relief operations shall also be well-coordinated, relief goods shall contain foods that contain the necessary nutrients and minerals needed by the body to avoid lack of nutrition or nourishment. These are just some ways to prevent hunger and malnutrition during and after the onslaught of natural disasters.
Every Filipino’s should know that Philippines is susceptible to natural disasters, hence, we shall always prepare and health is one of the main thing to always consider.
